Primary and Secondary School Papers, c late 1940s-1956
Scope and Contents
A file containing a small bundle of material relating to Roger Law's primary and secondary school education. The items present are: a primary school project book (RL/Pre-/1143) about various explorers, such as Marco Polo and Sir Francis Drake, and exploration, which is illustrated on the cover and throughout by Law; a certificate of attendance from Littleport County Primary School, awarded for the year 1952; an annual report on Law's academic performance and behaviour at Littleport County Secondary Mixed School, for the year 1955-1956; and an undated drawing of geometrical shapes, which was awarded a second prize in an unknown competition. As the latter item is undated, it is possible that this drawing is from Law's time at the Cambridge School of Art.
