Scope and Contents
Translation into French of ‘Advice to a daughter’, which was printed among ‘Miscellanies of the late lord Marquess of Halifax’, London, 1700. This appears to be a rough draft of the translation of which the most finished form is to be found in MS Dd.05.77, no. 1 (and see also MSS Dd.06.15 and Dd.09.42).
