Copies of letters on business from a merchant 'M. B.' [Michael Blackett] to Messrs Willet, J. Burkin, H. Law, C. Snow, Lombe, Welthorpe, J. Cooke, P. Bar, and other merchants, dated Newcastle, 1677-1683. This appears to have been the merchant's office-book. Blackett was the second son of Sir William Blackett, bart; his widow was remarried to Bishop John Moore. See also MS Add.91.
