PJ. This additional note was written by John Falconer. St Pauls Cathedral, Calcutta. Designed by Major (later General) W.N. Forbes of the Bengal Engineers in Indo-Gothic style, the foundation stone of the Cathedral was laid in 1839 and the building consecrated in 1847.
