Scope and Contents

Quarter-plate. Upon such a raft, not more than 20 years ago, the Captain of one of the Irrawaddy Steamers remembered seeing the crucified victims of King Theebaw - who were drifted down the river pour encourager les autres. (Fisher). [Raft in distance: not clearly visible]
