Scope and Contents
206 x 253 mm. Marlborough House, London set the scene for the newly opened Trinidad and Tobago Independence Conference attended by the Secretary of State for the Colonies, Mr. Reginald Maudling and a delegation from Trinidad and Tobago led by the Premier, Dr. Eric Williams. Here Dr. Rudranath Capildeo, leader of the opposition, makes his opening speech at the Conference for the Delegation which comprised four members of the Government, three members of the opposition and three non party members.
