Scope and Contents
'Five severall exercises or expositions on the commission and statute of sewers [23 Hen. VIII, c. 5], expressing the extent of the authoritie thereof, and written for commissioners' direction in the execution of theire dutie'. [The readings of Robert Callis at Gray's Inn, in August, 1622.] The first edition of this was printed in 1647; the exordium of the first reading is omitted in this manuscript.
