Scope and Contents

400 x 149 mm. A panoramic view showing the Malay Volunteer Infantry, the Malay States volunteer Rifles and the Police on parade at Ipoh Armistice Day 1921. At the head of the parade stands Lieutenant Colonel G.M.P. HORNIDGE M.C., whilst on the steps to the left are: Cecil William Chase PARR (1871-1943); British Resident, Perak 1921-1926; Raja Alang Iskander Shah (circa 1881-1938); Sultan of Perak 1918-1938; Raja Yusuf Bandahara; nephew of Sultan Iskandar; A.D.C. to the Sultan; Raja Chulan; the Raja Di Hilir of Perak; Captain Meadows FROST (1875-1954); M.S.C. 1898-1930; Raja Kameralzaman, the Malay Magistrate at Ipoh is number 19 in the front row of the Malay Volunteer Infantry.
