Scope and Contents
Observations made after the Adventure left Queen Charlotte Sound, New Zealand, while travelling towards the Cape of Good Hope. As a result of a mistake in the logbook in which he had accidentally gone forward a whole day, Bayly includes two records of observations for 26 February 1774, with a corresponding note.
