These include observations taken on shore (3-16 December) and observations taken on board the Adventure while at anchor (18-20 December).
The entries begin with a note on setting up the observatory and also include: calculations of the going rates of the clocks; observations of the distance of the sun and moon for longitude; and observations on the tides at the bottom of Ship Cove.
