In which Hiller discusses his 'Mariner's theodolite' and attests to his previous good conduct during his 17 years as a Royal Navy officer where he served on HMS El Vincego. He includes details of his ten year imprisonment in France as a prisoner of war, and his subsequent court-martial and discharge from the Navy.
