A. T. Bartholomew: notes on the recipients of publications, 1916-1919

 File
Reference Code: GBR/0012./MS Add.10304/30

Scope and Contents

These notes relate to the ‘Reprints from the Cambridge Magazine’, produced under the aegis of A. T. Bartholomew (1882-1933), Under-Librarian at Cambridge University Library. The reprints series totalled seven pieces, three of which were by Siegfried Sassoon, a friend of Bartholomew, who was responsible for the printing and publication of Sassoon’s ‘Picture Show’ of 1919. Between 200 and 250 copies were printed of each. These notes, seemingly in A. T. Bartholomew’s hand, relate to the production of several items in the series, including one by Sassoon, and list the names of friends and acquaintances to whom Bartholomew gave copies.
