Addition to the papers of Charles Thurstan Shaw, 1927 - 2016
Scope and Contents
This section, deposited in 2022, supplements the original deposit of Thurstan Shaw papers, and includes material, mostly photographs and negatives, relating to his archaeological work in Ghana and Nigeria as well as a small section of personal and professional correspondence, biographical material such as school reports and photographs, publications and a collection of slides used in teaching at the Institute of Education and for pubic talks or lectues. The section also includes material relating to Shaw's memorial service and the conference programme arranged by his widow in 2014.
