Scope and Contents
Miscellaneous newscuttings taken mainly from 'The Blackheath Local Guide and District Advertiser' during the 1920s, 1930s and 1940s, including articles on the Royal Observatory, Blackheath Proprietary School and the Second World War. All of the cuttings are loose in the album. There are also three letters from R.A. Sampson of the Royal Observatory, Edinburgh, to Melotte, 20 August, 28 August and 14 September 1915, regarding slides provided to him by Melotte.
