Papers regarding the expedition to Burnham, New Zealand, divided into seven sections:
1. Observations of the Transit of Venus, 6 December 1882.
2. Summary of observations for local time at Wellington.
3. Wellington record of electric signals exchanged with Burnham.
4. Details of time observations at Wellington on certain days.
5. Printed papers relating to longitude, etc.
6. Letter from C. Hockin relating to telegraphic connections for time signals between Sydney, New South Wales, and Wellington, New Zealand, in 1876.
7. Letters from Major Palmer R.E. and W. Kitson Esq. relating to stores left by the former at Burnham.
