Scope and Contents

From the Series:

Comprises correspondence between Leslie Harris, first director of the Dunn Laboratory, and Thomas Moore, assistant director, E. Mellanby, Sir Frederick Hopkins, Sir Charles Martin, Dr O Rosenheim, W A Wooster and G V B Herford regarding the setting up of the Dunn Nutritional Laboratory. Also includes research on vitamins and food process, together with correspondence, draft reports and minutes relating to collaborative studies with the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research, Ministry of Food, Food Investigation Board and War Services, information regarding staff salaries and some correspondence with staff, and wartime guides and regulations.
