The papers were deposited by Miss Barbara Wallis, granddaughter of Dr Giles, through the Friends of Cambridge University Library, in Oct. 1983 (1-18), undated further instalment (19), 1990 (20); and by Mr R. Oakden, via A.S. Bendall, Emmanuel College, in 1992 (21).
