Opening note on the timekeepers, 1772-07-13
Scope and Contents
The log book starts with an opening note on adjustments to be made to all observations of time during the voyage, due to the fact that [John Arnold's] timekeeper No. 1 was going too slow for meantime at Plymouth, and No. 2 was going too fast.
