Eleven letters from Henry Croaker (St. Dunstan's, Canterbury) outlining his proposals for finding longitude using a sun-dial and his ideas on the motion of heavenly bodies; later categorised by the Board of Longitude as 'wild proposals chiefly resulting from dreams'. The letters include observations written in verse.
