Scope and Contents
Henry Gardner seeks advice from Thomas Taylor on appropriate wording for a declaration of ownership to accompany a chronometer for trial. Following an accident, Gardner is unable to hold the fine parts of a chronometer in his hands, but is at pains to point out that he has directed all of the workmanship.
