Scope and Contents

Roughly datable items in hands other than Flamsteed's, mainly on astronomical subjects, including observing notes in William Crabtree's hand, 1638 (120r-124v); 'De inclinatione Magneticale', in an unidentified hand [c. 1640] (125r-126r); 'Ephemeris Anni Christi 1652' (127v-129v); a copy of an order concerning Gresham College, in Jonas Moore's hand [c. 1676] (130r-131r); predicted places of the Moon and Saturn for 1677-1678 (132r-133v); a diagram of a 1684 comet by Abraham Sharp (134r); eclipse observations by Jacobs, Blanchinus [Biancini], Brattle and two others, 1684-1706 (135r-140r, 144r, 147r-148r); notes by William Lloyd [c. 1703] (141r) and Bossley [c. 1705] (145r-146v); sunspot drawings by Gray, 1704 and 1713 (142r, 143r, 153r); a tide table copied by William Derham, 1709 (149v-150r); and eclipse observations by Sharp, 1711-1712, and his table of eclipses of Jupiter's satellites for 1720 (151r, 152r, 154r).
