Copies of papers on optics, apparently all by William Gascoigne, 1641-1642, transcribed by Jonas Moore during the mid-17th century or later: 'Concerning the makeing pro-portioning and useing of Persp[ective] Glasses' (210r-214v), 'Explanation of the Diagrams for wheeles' (215rv), 'Further notes' (216r-217r), 'De Chartas way demonstrated shortly with notes' (217rv), 'The Demonstration of the ey' (217v-218r), and 'The motion of a Convex Glasse'.
