A letter from A.D. Thackeray to Sir Richard Woolley, 7 January 1965, regarding a request from the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research for information. The letter also discusses the right ascension drive and encloses a copy of a letter from Thackeray to G.M. Sisson, Sir Howard Grubb, Parsons and Co. Ltd, 7 January, on this subject, as well as a copy of the technician's report for the drive, dated December 1964. There is also a copy of Woolley's reply to Thackeray of 14 January.
