There is mention of calculations for occultations by Saturn and Jupiter; the loan of copies of the 'Leeds Journal' and star catalogues; an observation of an occultation made by Steavenson on the Greenwich 28-inch telescope; a note for 'Popular Astronomy' and the 'Harvard Bulletin'; and Burnet's correspondence with Dr Backlund of Pulkova Observatory. In addition to Burnet's letters, there is a copy of a letter written to him by Comrie.
