Scope and Contents
Letters from Arthur Burnet, University Observatory, Oxford, giving star positions, many details of planetary occultations of stars and Jupiter's satellites and the phenomena of Jupiter's satellites. There is mention of calculations for occultations by Saturn and Jupiter; the loan of copies of the 'Leeds Journal' and star catalogues; an observation of an occultation made by Steavenson on the Greenwich 28-inch telescope; a note for 'Popular Astronomy' and the 'Harvard Bulletin'; and Burnet's correspondence with Dr Backlund of Pulkova Observatory. In addition to Burnet's letters, there is a copy of a letter written to him by Comrie.
