A letter from S.C.B. Gascoigne, 5 November 1974, and Redman's reply of 11 November, regarding commissioning work, the Anglo-Australian Telescope Board, a shearing interferometer assessment of a mirror figure, and Redman's proposed visit to Australia. There is also a handwritten description of Redman's telephone conversation with D.S. Brown on 8 November 1974 concerning the measurement of azimuths.
