Gascoigne, 8 November 1971, regarding the finder optics, the design and specification of the prime focus head, and general progress, with a copy of Gascoigne's letter to Dr M.D. Waterworth, University of Tasmania, 1 November 1971, concerning the design of a focal reducer type of system. There is also a letter to Redman from P.G. Hewitt, A.A.T. Project Office, 18 November 1971, enclosing a sketch showing a modification to the optical system on the prime focus camera.
