Scope and Contents
Letters and telex messages regarding payment for and acceptance of the Owens-Illinois Inc. CER-VIT mirror blank. The correspondence includes a letter from R.R. Heraty to M.H. Jeffery, 11 August 1969, enclosing a finishing schedule bar chart and referring to the photographic birefringence record; correspondence regarding mirror strain, including a telex from Jeffery containing S.C.B. Gascoigne's opinion and referring to J.D. Pope's tests on central holes in secondary blanks; and a copy of Gascoigne's letter to Jeffery, 26 August 1969, advising acceptance of the blank.
