Jeffery, 27 November - 9 December 1968, regarding the revision of guiding specifications for the primary mirror and specifications for secondary and other blanks; secondary mirror supports; reports obtained by J.D. Pope and Hermann Wehner in Toronto and Tucson; correctors; and design precepts for instrument action. There is also a copy of Jeffery's letter to R. Harris, 3 December, concerning exchangeable secondary mirrors, and of a letter from J.D. Pope to Redman, 17 December, commenting on Redman's queries on secondary mirrors.
