Correspondence with M.H. Jeffery regarding the stoppage of site wind recording; Hermann Wehner's comments on minimum building height; the final draft on the mirror figuring specification and the withdrawal of Carl Zeiss from the bidding; field rotation due to atmospheric refraction; and the Canadian 150-inch telescope. There is also copy of a letter from S.C.B. Gascoigne to M.H. Jeffery, 7 June 1968, commenting on the draft mirror specifications and enclosing a graph on performance figures for known mirrors. The last letter from Redman, 19 July 1968, contains revised comments on this draft, written following discussions with J.D. Pope.
