A copy of a letter from Redman to M.H. Jeffery, 8 April 1968, regarding an accompanying copy of notes by S.C.B. Gascoigne on the Anglo-Australian Telescope optical system, dated 27 March 1968. Redman also discusses checking the figures in any final contract draft and mentions site 3A at Siding Spring Observatory. There is also a copy of a letter from Jeffery to F. Hoyle, 19 April 1968, regarding Gascoigne's memorandum on the Anglo-Australian Telescope optical system and referring to the blank diameter.
