Correspondence with J.D. Pope and R.L. Ford regarding the design of the Anglo-Australian Telescope, including the tube, coma tolerance for mirror alignments, focus control and cervit rods, including reference to Ford's visit to the Kitt Peak National Observatory. There is also a copy of a letter from K.A. Strand, United States Naval Observatory, to J.D. Pope on their air bag system and how an astigmatism problem was resolved.
