Correspondence of Redman and others with Corning Glass Works regarding mirror blank requirements. There is a copy of a letter from E.L. Phillips, Sales Manager, to S.C.B. Gascoigne, 7 June 1967, concerning a meeting in Australia to discuss specifications; a letter from F. Williams, Product Engineer, to Redman, 11 July 1967, agreeing to change the specifications in line with interpretations he has outlined; and a letter from Phillips to W.L. Francis, Science Research Council, 8 August 1967, regarding the visit by Redman and others to the company's McKean Plant to inspect the Queen Elizabeth II mirror.
