Scope and Contents
A copy of a letter from Redman to J.D. Pope, 27 June 1970, regarding the system for focus stabilisation to be adopted for the Anglo-Australian Telescope. He describes the problem of focus control relating to changes of temperature in the steel of the telescope tube, and discusses possible courses of action.
