Correspondence with C.A. Murray, Royal Greenwich Observatory, 29 October 1973 - 30 November 1973, regarding positional errors when measuring Palomar Schmidt plates and the unlikelihood of obtaining money for a dedicated astrometric telescope. The correspondence was prompted by a query from B.E.J. Pagel, Royal Greenwich Observatory, and there is a copy of a letter from Redman to Pagel, 24 October 1973, preceding the other letters.
