Martin, 2 February 1954, regarding a report of the Leiden meeting on the proposed Southern Hemisphere Observatory, with a letter to the Secretaries of the Royal Society from the Chairman of the meeting (Bertil Lindblad, Director of the Stockholm Observatory), 27 January 1954, disagreeing with the British attitude articulated by Redman.
