A copy of a letter from I.S. Bowen, Mount Wilson and Palomar Observatories, to Dr Robert R. McMath, McMath-Hulbert Observatory, Michigan, 4 April 1961, on large telescope design problems in relation to Kitt Peak. There is also correspondence between Redman and Richard Woolley in California, 26 September - 2 October 1961, including E.H. Linfoot's notes on S. Rosin's proposals for Cassegrain and prime foci systems, 5 October 1961.
