Scope and Contents

A letter from H.H. Plaskett, 10 July 1955, advocating the building of the Isaac Newton Telescope in Britain instead of Australia, the design of the I.N.T., and a I.N.T. Board of Management meeting with Richard Woolley. There is also a copy of a letter from Redman to Woolley, 19 July 1955, enclosing Plaskett's letter and expressing the view that a dual-purpose telescope would be a mistake.
