For photographs of the printing and publishing operation, see Press 3/3 Publishing administration (where both sides of the business are captured in one photo-shoot). A medallion cast from the last hot metal type to have been used at the Press is held in the University Library Historic Printing Room.

John Clay died on 20 March 1916 aged 58. His grave is in the Ascension Parish Burial Ground, Cambridge.
