A miscellaneous set of photographs and other items:
Miscellaneous photographs, c. 1932-c. 1974, 1 envelope, including views of Greenwich; staff outings; computers, the Isaac Newton Telescope, Harrison's H4 chronometer and other equipment; D.H. Sadler as President of the Royal Astronomical Society; and Sadler's retirement event.
Five black and white photographs of Smiths' Periscopic Sextant and Mounting and two black and white photographs of a second sextant, 1959, 1 envelope.
Display cards containing mounted photographs with captions, c. 1933-c. 1967, 1 box. The subjects include the bicentenary of the 'Nautical Almanac', 1967; the bicentenary of the Harrison Chronometer, 1964; superintendents of the N.A.O.; staff of the Royal Greenwich Observatory, 1933; the erection of the Equatorial Group; and the reunion of former staff members of the N.A.O., 27 April 1963. There are also various photographs of different members of staff.
A cork mat covered with figures for interpolation to fourths, designed by T.C. Hudson, September 1926, with notes by D.H. Sadler, 1972 and 1974, 1 folder.
