Miscellaneous correspondence with foreign observatories:

Correspondence with the Aarhus Observatory, 1936, concerning the location of the Tusculanum Observatory of Ole Rømer.

Correspondence with the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, 1926, concerning the change of name to be inserted in the 'Nautical Almanac'.

Correspondence with Apia Observatory, Western Samoa, 1926-1937, concerned mainly with the observation of the total eclipse, 21-22 October 1930. There is also a copy of a paper by P.W. Glover on the orbit of Comet 1927k; correspondence on occultations visible in New Zealand; Professor Mitchell's report on spectra obtained at the 1930 eclipse; and correspondence with Glover.

Correspondence with Captain H.S. Blackburne, Auckland, New Zealand, 1933-1935, concerned principally with information supplied by the Nautical Almanac Office for his 'Tables for Azimuths, Great Circle Sailing and Reductions to the Meridian'.

Correspondence with the Hamburger Sternwarte, Bergedorf, Germany, 1926-1927, relating mainly to catalogue material.

A review by R.T. Crawford, Berkeley, of L.J. Comrie's book 'What I Know About Astronomy', 1933.

Correspondence with Berlin, 1929-1937, concerned principally with matters relating to information supplied to the Nautical Almanac Office and on changes of designation of the Rechen Institute.

Correspondence with Budapest, 1927, concerned mainly with the locations of various observatories.

Correspondence with Harvard College Observatory, Cambridge, Massachusetts, 1930-1934, relating largely to the exchange of publications.

Correspondence with an observatory run by amateurs at Fredericia, Denmark, 1935-1937, regarding the exchange of publications (the exchange was discontinued in 1937).

Correspondence with Leipzig, 1927-1928, concerned mainly with the exchange of publications and the translation of parts of J. Bauschinger's book.

Correspondence with Leningrad, 1931-1937, regarding the production of tables and other matters, including comments on occultation stations in Kiev, Tomsk, Tashkent, Irkutsk, Vladivostok, Kitab, Simeis, Odessa, Nikolaev, Stalinabad, Poulkovo and Gorki.

Correspondence with E.J. Willis, Richmond, Virginia, 1933, concerned mainly with mathematical tables and the Willis Navigating Machine. There is also a copy of Willis's book 'A Straight Compass Course'.

Miscellaneous correspondence with foreign observatories, 1926-1940, including Abastouman, Georgia; Amsterdam, Holland; Basel, Switzerland; and Stuttgart, Germany. The subjects include tables of logaritH.M.S., the transit of Mercury, mathematical tables and copies of figures reproduced from photographs.
