Scope and Contents
Two sets of correspondence with the Royal Observatory, Greenwich:
1. Correspondence regarding the appointment of R.H. Corham to the Nautical Almanac Office, the employment of P.J. Melotte and other Royal Observatory staff on calculations for H.M.S. 'Vernon', and other matters.
2. Correspondence regarding extending the wartime work of the Nautical Almanac Office, reports of bomb damage at the Royal Observatory and the printers Hammonds, and letters on arrangements for continuing foreign cooperation without Germany.
