Scope and Contents
Correspondence and other papers regarding the preparation and presentation of the N.A.T.O. Advanced Study Institute Course on 'Stellar Evolution and Variable Stars' held at Ofir, Portugal, between 21 August and 2 September 1970, organised by Sir Richard Woolley and B.E.J. Pagel. The papers include applications from students for places on the course, letters of acceptance, material on the arrangements made with lecturers to decide when they give their talks, and a final list of participants.
