Scope and Contents
Correspondence and papers regarding the Hartland Magnetic Station, 1967-1968, relating mainly to the operation and supply of stores to Hartland, but also including correspondence on a Central Electricity Generating Board proposal for a Hydro-electric power station within 10 miles of Hartland. There is further material concerning the transfer of Hartland Magnetic Observatory to the Natural Environment Research Council, 1966-1968.
