Hewerdine, Personal Secretary to Sir Richard Woolley, to 10 Downing Street and Buckingham Palace regarding the separation of the posts of Astronomer Royal and Director of the Royal Greenwich Observatory after Woolley's retirement; correspondence with the Revd Father D.J.K. O'Connell, former Director of the Specola Vaticana, Castel Gandolfo, Vatican City; letters from O.J. Eggen in South Africa; information sheets from the Science Research Council; and plans and descriptions of an educational sidereal instrument, sent to Sir Richard Woolley by Constantine Hagisfirion of Piraeus, Greece.
