Correspondence of R. Atkinson, Chief Assistant, Royal Greenwich Observatory, with I.N. Sneddon of Glasgow University, H. Spencer Jones and C. Jowsey, 1948-1949, with drafts of Atkinson's confidential letters to Dr Dyson and Professor Dee on the appointment of a second chief assistant.
R. Atkinson's drafts of confidential letters to D.H. Sadler and H. Spencer Jones regarding Sadler's refusal to accept Atkinson's jurisdiction over the Nautical Almanac Office as deputy to Spencer Jones, 1949.
Correspondence between R. Atkinson and H.
