Scope and Contents
The Order of the Star of Africa is presented by the government of Liberia. The words ‘Light in Darkness’ are inscribed on the front of the medallion. On the obverse are the intertwined letters LR above the date 1920. The inscription on the surrounding ring is: The Love of Liberty Brought Us Here.
