Notes made by CP from her father’s records in a blue notebook, ‘Dates of Happenings’ (1893-1926), also manuscript notes made by her father 'notes of dates' (from his marriage in 1893 to the outbreak of war in 1914, and typescript ‘Notes on the Hoo’ [Gaddesden Hoo, the home of JP's parents, Thomas and Elizabeth Procter]. Undated, but probably written in about 1935 [JP refers to his birth in the house over 70 years ago].
