Anna thanks Bessie for her ‘new little volume’ [Summer Sketches 1854?], her favourite item being ‘The King’s Daughter’. She will have the volume bound together with another volume of Bessie’s poetry. Anna was amused to hear Bessie’s account of William Allingham’s behaviour at the Smiths.
