Photocopy of an article in the Girton Review, Lent Term 1901, pp 9-21, in which Ethel Sargant reviews the progress of university education for women, and appeals to women to join fully in what she considers 'the great inheritance of the Universities', ie the 'pursuit of learning for its own sake'. She foresees the advent of research fellowships for women, appealing to the benefactors of women's colleges to continue their support by endowing women's research.
