Scope and Contents
RP has met Mr [John] Mayor and Mr [Charles] Gray, who support ED's wish to hold a private examination [of girls using Cambridge papers]. Wishes to invite ED to Cambridge to meet supporters, and to meet her himself in London. Believes that if she obtained the support of a large number of girls' schoolmistresses it would compel the Universities to act. Will write to [Anna] Richardson, sending her ED's letters.
